Are you curious about the origins of your drinking water and how it flows across many borders while passing through many hands? Come discover the water story from mountain top to faucet as we delve into local and regional water sources, water rights and permitting, water prices and allocation. Keep your pulse on water politics by also learning about current local and regional water management initiatives and projects in which you can become engaged.

Wednesday, July 16 – Water Quality and Monitoring

Join us as we delve into the fascinating world of water chemistry and explore the different techniques used to treat drinking water and monitor its quality allowing us rely on this precious natural resource on a daily basis. We’ll also discover the similarities and differences between tap and bottled water, learn how to decipher your own purveyor’s water quality report and walk away with a contact resource list.
