West Basin Free Rain Barrel Distribution Program
West Basin offers free rain barrels to qualifying homes in the service area. During the 2020-2021 program year, 1,000 rain barrels were distributed to residents through a contactless home delivery pilot program in order to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols.
As of June 21, all rain barrels have been allocated and reservations are no longer being accepted. To be added to an interest list for the 2021-2022 rain barrel program, please visit the link below.
While the free rain barrel distribution program is currently on hold until later this year, residents may qualify for a $35 rebate for the purchase of approved rain barrels. To view more information and apply for the rebate, please visit www.socalwatersmart.com.
